Here is Karen in her element. May has been a busy month for us.  The highlight however was the birth of Ezekiel Joseph Hawk, Andrew and Adelphia's new son.  Ezekiel was born on May 24 which is also Adelphia's birthday.

Other events of May which are not quite as note worthy are that we have continued to get in some miles on our bikes, we modified an area beside our house creating a raise planter box and an enclosed seating area, We got most of the pier, and shore stations in, have two boats in the water and took our first ski run of the month

Elisea's Birthday

There is a new format that has arisen on my blog site.  I haven't quite figured it out yet so I'm not sure how this blog will look and what I have to do to get control of it.  Oh well change is sometimes a good thing.

On April 22 several of us gathered to celebrate Elisea's 4th birthday.  There were three great grand parents. three grandparents an aunt and uncle and two cousins joining the Hawks.  Adelphia had a nice lunch planned and everyone kicked in to help get things ready.

 

Grandma gave specific instructions that seemed to be perceived as a real bummer.

The balloons were a big hit with everyone.

 Elisea wanted a purple circle cake, and that seemed to please her quite well.

One of her favorite seemed to be a handy flashlight that she could use to irritate older brother and cousins

After the party we headed off to Andrew and Adelphia's church to see Ethans end of year program.
