Today we went to the Blue Mountains, deep gorges with impressive exposed rock formations steep trails and stairs, and cable cars some with glass floors.It was fairly cool when we started out but got warmer during the day. There were great views of clifs and rock outcroppings
We walked down to the bottom on the valley on some faily steep stairs and trails.
Karen kept saying are you sure we don't have to walk back up? She was greatly relieved to when we got to the bottom. The walk along the "bottom" of the gorge was at times steep and had some dropoffs that provided spectacular views.
We saw some interesting plants and critters in along the way.
We did a couple of cable car rides to get from the bottom on the gorge and across a big valley. There were lots of opportunities for good photos. Karen was really happy to see the cable car. I don't think any of us were looking forword to walking out of the gorge
.
At the top there was a restaurant gift shop and more views. 
Overall it was a really good day with lots of inspiring views and an exhilerating hike.
