Northern Beaches October 8

Jon had to do some studying and some work so Karen Clarice and I spent the morning sightseeing at the beach communities north of where they live. We headed up the coast and stopped at several beaches, saw some surfers, walked on the rocks and enjoyed looking at the tidal pools. We stopped for a cup of coffee at a really nice restaurant for coffee and a great view from a high vantage point.

We stopped back at Jon and Clarice's apartment for lunch and headed south to Manly to walk by the shops and walk along the beach. Manly is the community that is home to the Rugby team that won the Rugby finals that we attended the previous Sunday. The town was pretty crowded that day since they were having a celebration of the their home town rugby team. The beach was full of sunbathers. We walked along the beach walk and around the cove to the rock point.

That evening we went to a cookout at the home of some people from Clarice and Jon's church along with three other couples from their Bible study group.
